What’s Fresh! at the Market2018 Season: May 13 – October 14
Welcome to Astoria Sunday Market! We are looking forward to another great season and encourage you to explore our website where you’ll find our music schedule, information about our vendors and learn about our Biz Kidz program.
Lisa’s work is a constant search for the best way to interpret ideas of who she is and how she sees the world. The visual arts break through the boundary of words, creating a rich and textural language of its own.
Working as a professional photographer and oil painter for decades, she found these two art forms rich in experience. However, as her artistic talents evolved, she became frustrated by a sense of limitation. By marrying the two in a digital multi-media creation, she combines texture, color and emotion to share the rich world of her mind to an appreciative audience.
Lisa resides in Seaside and is Co-Owner of the Gilbert District Gallery.

Jewelry & Crafts
The music really makes it celebratory. This last market both the buskers and the official program were amazing.
I loved it! So many cool booths selling unique products. Beautiful and cheap flower bouquets. Natural soaps and honey products. A lot of hand crafted jewelry and artwork. Lots of samples, friendly people, dog-friendly market...My favorite part was the flowers we got--so gorgeous.
One of the best all around Sunday markets in the area, they have live entertainment, fresh vegetables, a huge selection of craft and personal items, and a nice selection of food for those looking for breakfast, lunch, or a little snack.
Fresh produce, crafts, art, wonderful food. Love that you can sample wine and local distilled spirits - get with it Washington! So much fun to watch all the people and their dogs (and today a very cute goat)
From Empty Streets to Festive Market
Michael Mathers attended nearly every Astoria Sunday Market the first half of the 2011 season and countless hours
photographing the Market from set-up to tear-down to create this wonderful time-lapsed movie from his still images of the Market.
Michael is a professional photographer and created this movie as a personal project. Enjoy!
